MEA's annual membership election is one of the foundations of our member-led co-op, but it can also be expensive due to printing and postage costs to produce materials for nearly 54,000 members. Send your Outage Report in Seconds Through SmartHub

What's the fastest way to let MEA know when you have a power outage? By using the outage reporting tool on the SmartHub app. Your outage report is sent to our dispatch in a matter of seconds versus the time it takes trying to find the phone number and going through a call que. Beware of Phone Billing Scams

There's been an increase in the amount of calls we've received from members reporting they had an electric bill scamming phone call. Typically, the scammer insists you are behind on your payment and threatens to disconnect your power unless immediate payment is provided. The scammer may also try to get your personal information by having you "verify" your account information including your address, date of birth and other sensitive information. Please note that MEA will never ask for payment information over the phone. If you receive one of these alarming calls, please hang up and contact MEA directly at 907-761-9300 to verify your account is current or login to your SmartHub account.
