Cast Your Vote in the 2025 MEA Board Election - You Could Win Big!

Voting is now open for MEA's 2025 Board of Directors election! This year's election includes an At-Large seat, representing the entire MEA service area, and the Matanuska District seat (covering Gateway, part of Fishhook, the greater Palmer area up to Glacier View, and Butte).

Important Update: After the election materials were printed, two At-Large candidates - Tyler Vose and Michael Willmon - withdrew from the race. A printed notice was included in the election packets, which were mailed out to members on Thursday, April 3, 2025.

How to Vote
Online:
Vote easily and securely through your SmartHub account.
By Mail:
Return your mail-in ballot (must be received by 5:00 p.m. on Monday, April 28, 2025, not just postmarked).
In-Person: Cast your vote at the Annual Membership Meeting on Tuesday, April 29 at 3:00p.m. at the Glenn Massay Theater.

Online Voter Perks
Members who vote online will be entered into additional prize drawings, including weekly $100 gift certificate toward your MEA bill, and a $500 grand prize toward your MEA bill. All voting members are automatically entered to win a year of free electricity (up to 10,000 kWh)!

You're Invited: MEA's Annual Membership Meeting is April 29

Make plans to join us for MEA's 2025Annual Membership Meeting on Tuesday, April 29 at the Glenn Massay Theater in Palmer. Based on member feedback and past attendance, the meeting will take place in the afternoon.

Doors open at 2:00 p.m. Come early for registration, light refreshments, an MEA information fair, and the chance to connect with local organizations.
Meeting begins at 3:00 p.m.

Attending members will receive a $10 bill credit and a chance to win exciting door prizes, including a retired MEA fleet truck (valued at $6,000). At the meeting, MEA's Board of Directors will highlight key accomplishments from the past year, share strategic priorities for our cooperative's energy future, and welcome member comments and questions.
