Project Open House Feedback Session for Transmission Line and Substation Siting - September 29th

Come share your feedback at our upcoming Open House on the preferred route options for a transmission line from the Palmer Fishhook to Pittman areas and siting for two new substations to supply power to the growing communities from Fishhook to Meadow Lakes. The Project Feedback Session will be held on Wednesday, September 29, 2021 from 6:00 to 8:30 p.m. at Tanaina Elementary School (located at 2550 Lucille St., Wasilla, AK).

Information at the Open House will include:
·        Data used to map and develop routes for a new transmission line to supply power to the growing Fishhook to Meadow Lakes areas.

·        Maps of the study's highest scoring power line routes.

·        Progress on identifying sites for two substations to support growing load for homes and businesses in the study area.
