Matanuska Electric Association’s (MEA) Board of Directors has approved $35,000 in scholarships to be awarded this year through the annual MEA Scholarship Program. This initiative aims to support first-time college students, returning students, individuals enrolled in vocational programs, and those pursuing professional development leading to a degree or certification.

Eligible applicants must be active MEA members or dependents of active members. Please note that members of the MEA Scholarship Committee and their dependents are not eligible to apply.

The 2025 scholarship application is available online through the Scholar’s App platform, where applicants must create a profile to submit their applications. Applications are due in mid-March.
