Palmer, AK - MEA will be hosting a member discussion on carbon reduction in an informal Zoom meeting on Wednesday, April 28, 2021 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Members and the public can join the zoom discussion at the link below (no advance registration is required).

A Special Board meeting on Carbon Reduction was held in March in which there was some confusion among participants about providing comment during the Persons to Be Heard section. We also heard from members they would like to learn more about the associated studies that were presented as well as have an opportunity to discuss the topic with staff.

MEA wants to make sure we hear from our members on this topic. We invite members and other interested stakeholders to join us for an informal virtual discussion via zoom on Wednesday, April 28, 2021 from 11:00a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

MEA staff will share more in-depth information on our carbon reduction studies and related options and look forward to a facilitated discussion with our members and other stakeholders.
