MEA Announces Annual Meeting Details

Matanuska Electric Association will host its Annual Membership Meeting on Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at the Curtis D. Menard Memorial Sports Center. This year’s meeting will not feature a board election or bylaw change recommendations, in accordance with the MEA Bylaws.

In lieu of election activities, MEA will host an Information Fair beginning at 5 p.m. The fair will feature booths on clearing, major projects, the Eklutna Generation Station, energy efficiency options, previous Operation RoundUp® nonprofit grant recipients, billing options and more.

The business meeting will begin at 6 p.m. and provide members with 2017 highlights, financials and 2018 goals and projections. All registered attendees will receive a $10 bill credit and be eligible to win door prizes including a year of free electricity (not to exceed 10,000 kWh) and an MEA beater truck.
